Directorate General of Public Accounting and the Treasury (DGCPT)
Building a services portal that brings together every service of Senegal's public Treasury.

Our Solution
The objective:
To address the public Treasury's challenges, Xbit followed an approach built on four key stages: understanding who the users are and what their environment looks like; identifying user problems and selecting the pain points to solve; co-designing innovative solutions directly connected to user expectations; then testing by presenting those solutions to users, so as to challenge our own assumptions
Our approach:
User testing was carried out across the four key stages:
- To sharpen our understanding of client needs and of the specifics of each profile, a qualitative research phase was run through a series of interviews, completed by standardised questionnaires — so-called usability scales.
- Once the wireframes were validated, a moderated testing phase began in order to confirm the first proposals.
The plus:
After an in-depth study of the existing site, the Experience team's final phase focused on designing a visual identity derived from the DGCPT's existing brand. The main constraints were to keep the brand colours, to simplify the presentation of information that is at times technical, and to give the whole a more modern and approachable feel.
